Banana Blueberry Breakfast Boost Bowl (Serves 1)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup milk or yogurt (your choice: dairy, almond, oat, etc.)

  • 1 ripe banana (sliced)

  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 2 tbsp mixed nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans), chopped

  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips or drops

  • Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Base:
    Add oats to a bowl. Pour over the milk or dollop the yogurt on top (depending on your preference).

  2. Layer Fruit:
    Arrange banana slices on one side and blueberries on the other.

  3. Add Crunch:
    Sprinkle the chopped nuts in the center or over the top.

  4. Chocolate Hit:
    Scatter chocolate drops over everything (they’ll slightly melt into the oats — yum!).

  5. Finishing Touch:
    Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired. Add a pinch of cinnamon if you're feeling fancy.

Optional Extras:

  • Add chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra fibre.

  • Use warm milk to soften the oats slightly for a cozy touch.
